We refer to your application for employment with us. Kindly make it
convenient to attend a written test on Sunday-24th September, 2006. The
written test will begin at 9:00 AM. You are requested to report at any
one of the test centers mentioned herewith latest by 8:30 AM. Latecomers
may not be allowed to participate in the selection process.
Further, please note the following:
1. You are requested to bring with you sufficient proof of
Identification. We accept any one of the following documents as proof of
Identification. Original photo-identity (no photocopies allowed) such as
Identity card issued from the college you studied last, Photo ID card
issued by your employer, Credit/Debit card with photograph, Electoral
Card, Driving License, PAN ID card with Photo or Passport. Without one
of these, you will not be admitted to take the test. Documents such as
season pass for bus/train, training institute ID cards, bank pass books,
photocopies of documents are not considered as valid proof of
identification. If the proof of identification produced by you is
insufficient, as decided by the Infosys authority, we reserve the right
to disallow you from participating in this event.
2. Please carry with you 2 recent passport size photographs of
yourself, photocopies of all mark sheets and a copy of this call letter.
3. Please carry a printout of this call letter with you to
the venue
4. The duration of the selection process is 2.5 hrs, which
includes filling in an application form, an aptitude test (Analytical
Thinking and Arithmetic Reasoning) and a test of English language. The
duration of the tests will be 90 minutes. Use of calculators, mobile
phones, digital diaries, palm tops or any other such devices is strictly
prohibited.
5. Results of the test will be announced at the venue on the
same day at a time, which will be intimated during the test. Interview
schedules, viz date, time and venue will be published as part of the
written test results. Shortlisted candidates are requested to carry an
updated copy of their resume to the interview. We suggest that you plan
in advance to spend the required time with us.
6. As a policy, one has to maintain a gap of at least 9
months from the date of appearing for a selection process with Infosys,
before participating again. You have been called for this test on the
understanding that you have not undergone any Infosys selection process
in the last 9 months.
Infosys strives to recruit the best-in-class professionals through a
stringent selection process that sets high standards on past academic
performance, the selection test and the interview with equal weightage
assigned to each of these stages. Disclosure of any portion of the test
materials to anyone is a violation of Infosys’ proprietary rights in the
same and could have legal consequences.
Infosys has not engaged or authorized any party to provide any sort of
tuition to help candidates to prepare for this test. We have also not
released any copies of our test papers to the general public. In the
event that anyone offers you copies of Infosys test papers, please be
aware that these are not legally obtained and would be fakes. Please
inform us of any offer to provide you with Infosys test papers or any
other malpractice in this regard that comes to your notice. Information

By virtue of your application for employment with Infosys, you are
certifying that all information that you have provided to Infosys as a
part of your application for employment is indeed complete and accurate
in all respects. You acknowledge that any offer of employment that we
might make to you would be based on our understanding that you have
provided us with complete and accurate information. If the information
provided by you is found at any time to be false, misleading or
incomplete in any manner, we reserve the right to withdraw any offer of
employment that may be extended to you, or to terminate your employment

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

POINTS TO REMEMBER WHILE FILLING THE APPLICATION FORM:
1. An Application form will be given to you at the beginning of
the test process. Fill it up ACCURATELY & CORRECTLY and with the
photograph attached, within the timeframe given by the invigilator.
2. Please ensure that all Data fields in the Application form are
filled in (e.g. Citizenship, Date of Birth etc.)
3. Wherever nothing has to be written, please write N.A. or nil
as applicable.
Please pay attention to the following when you provide details about
your Education (Page 2)
4. Provide accurate information regarding academic credentials,
such as year of passing, university/ board, marks and percentages.
5. Intentional or unintentional misrepresentation of data can
lead to disqualification of candidature or termination of employment, if
made an offer.
6. While computing Simple Average/ Aggregate percentages for X,
XII, Graduation and Post Graduation, include all Languages, Additional
Subjects, Practicals, and Optional Subjects. Please refer to the
illustration below for better understanding.
7. Attach copies of all your mark sheets (X, Diploma and/or XII,
Graduation, Post Graduation etc) to the application form

8. Please use only the above method to calculate the simple
average/ aggregate for each of your academic qualifications.
9. If your college follows a CGPA system, please ensure that the
CGPA is calculated taking into account each and every course that you
have undertaken in the curriculum, including optional or additional
subjects (if any).
10. If you have done your Diploma after X and have joined directly
as a lateral entrant into 2nd year of BE/ BTech, please calculate the
aggregate for all the 3 years of Diploma (including all languages/
optional subjects/ additional subjects undertaken during the 3 years)
and capture the same. Compute the aggregate for Engineering from the 2nd
year (3rd semester) onwards to the final semester, as applicable.
11. In Page No.4, record relevant details if you have gone through a
selection process with Infosys or Infosys group companies (like Progeon,
Onmobile, etc) previously.
12. Read the declaration on page #4 and ensure that the application
form is duly signed by you.

THE FOLLOWING ARE THE TEST VENUES. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO APPEAR FOR THE
TEST IN A LOCATION/ CENTRE OF YOUR CONVIENIENCE

DOCUMENTS MENTIONED IN POINTS 2 & 3 OF THE CALL LETTER.
